hardware: Hinges, Doorknobs, Nails, Fasteners, Electrical, Cabinet Pulls (retail packaging, no jars).

plumbing: Low-flow toilets (new only), sinks, tubs & showers (new only).

flooring

flooring: Tile, Laminate Plank, Roll Linoleum (new only), Carpet Tile, Hardwood. (job lot quantities preferred)

windows: Double Hung, Picture, Bay (complete with all sashes, no broken parts).

donation condition: Items should be in working order and have no missing hardware or broken parts; deep scratches, chips or cracks; fabric with stains, tears or strong odors; pet hair or stains; or other major damage.

Habitat Pittsburgh's ReStore offers free and paid pickups for donations! Approved items may also dropped off at the ReStore during the hours 9am-3:30pm on Tuesday-Saturday. The store is happy to provide a donation receipt for tax purposes. Select one below to get started:

You can schedule a free pickup for larger items or choose a paid priority pickup offered by our trusted for-profit, third-party partner.

free pick-up

Have large items for donation? Habitat Pittsburgh's ReStore drivers can pick them up for free:

  • We can pick-up larger items from the approved list above

  • Items must be outside the home or in a garage for pick-up

  • Items must already be disassembled

  • Availability varies but is typically within 2 weeks of scheduling

  • Totally free!

priority pick-up

Through our partnership with ReSupply, Habitat Pittsburgh ReStore offers paid ​priority pickups:

  • Pickups as soon as 1 business day (Mon-Sat), subject to timeslot availability

  • Can pick up from multiple floors

  • Can disassemble furniture

  • Items of any condition picked up

  • More affordable than typical moving company or junk hauler fee (only approved donation items are tax deductible)

Approved donation items may be dropped off directly at the ReStore in the Swissvale Shopping Center during the hours listed below. Items will be accepted at the discretion of our ReStore attendants.
