Can everyone shop at ReStore?

Yes, ReStore is open to the public! Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer, homeowner, renter, landlord, contractor, interior designer, environmentalist or treasure hunter, make Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh ReStore your first stop when shopping for your next home improvement, renovation or DIY project. 

What kind of items does Restore sell?

ReStore sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, homegoods, construction materials, and more. Our inventory changes daily—visit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh ReStore, follow us on social media, and sign up for emails to find out what's available.

Can I come back to pick up my purchase?

Yes, larger items purchased may be held for pick-up until 3:30pm the following business day. Purchases not picked-up by this time will be considered a donation and return to ReStore inventory. No refunds or store credit will be issued. ReStore is not responsible for any damage to merchandise awaiting pick-up.

How does ReStore price and discount items?

ReStore products are priced according to quality and condition. Items are discounted regularly based on their length of time unsold. Check our color-coded price-tag to see how much you'll save.

Do you offer free/discounted items for families in need?

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh provides affordable Homeownership and Home Repair Programs for low- to moderate-income families in Allegheny County. We do not currently offer any programs that provide free or discounted ReStore merchandise. We recommend that people in need of those services contact a local furniture bank, such as “Off the Floor” and “The Blessing Board.”

Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes, donations made to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh through our ReStore are tax-deductible. ReStore sales help our nonprofit provides decent, affordable homeownership and home repair programs for Allegheny County families earning a low- to moderate-income.

Do you operate other ReStores in the area?

This ReStore is proudly owned and operated by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh. Other ReStores you may see in Southwestern Pennsylvania are independently owned and operated by other Habitat for Humanity organizations local to that area.
